How do you store seeds? There's lots of wonderful ways!

Annual Nicandra produces lavender blue flowers shaped like chalices and produces ball-shaped seed pods. The plant also has the common name of Shoo-fly because it is said to be able to repel white flies. Once the pods are mature they turn papery-brown. remove them from the plant and allow to dry for several more days. The pods are then crumbled and the chaff puffed away to separate the seeds. The seeds are very small reddish-brown disks less than a 1/16th of an inch across. |
